Hi, I’m Kim Nguyen, a family, maternity, and newborn photographer based in Southern California. My journey behind the lens began as a way to capture the fleeting moments of my own children’s lives — the tiny hands, the soft giggles, the milestones that pass all too quickly. What started as a hobby has grown into a lifelong calling to help families preserve their most meaningful memories.
Born in Vietnam and raised in the U.S., I grew up in a family that valued stability and traditional careers. For years, I followed that path of working a secure job with benefits — but deep down, my heart longed for something more creative, something that felt me. With the love and support of my husband, I took a leap of faith and began pursuing photography full-time.
Today, I pour my heart into every session — creating timeless, emotive images that reflect love, connection, and the beauty of family. Whether it’s the quiet strength of motherhood, the joy of new beginnings, or the laughter shared between loved ones, my goal is to capture your story with warmth and authenticity.
My approach
My newborn photography is gentle, timeless, and filled with heart. I believe every baby is unique, and my goal is to capture their natural beauty in a calm and soothing environment. Each session is baby-led — I move at your little one’s pace, following their cues to ensure comfort and safety above all else.
